Jonathan Ross takes cigar smoker of the year award

Jonathan Ross, the English radio and television presenter, was hailed The Snow Queen Cigar Smoker Of The Year 2015 at a dinner held on Tuesday at Boisdale, Canary Wharf, London.

The Hollywood actor and director Burt Reynolds scooped the Snow Queen Lifetime Cigar Achievement Award at the same event, the Snow Queen Cigar Smoker of the Year Awards Dinner 2015.

Awards were made, too, for the cigar terrace/lounge of the year; the cigar retailer of the year; the cigar producer of the year; and the Snow Queen cigar of the year.

James Leavey, meanwhile, took the cigar writer of the year award. Leavey, who has been writing about smoking and cigars for 20 years, started this stage of his career when he wrote, in the early days of the public-places smoking ban, a three-page smoker’s guide to London. A year later, that guide became a book, The FOREST Guide to Smoking in London, which attracted worldwide media coverage. The Times described it as the most politically incorrect book of the month.
