FlexLink has opened a sales and engineering facility in Johannesburg, South Africa, to support customers in the Sub-Sahara region.
In addition to selling and engineering of new installations, the new unit will provide aftermarket support for installations using FlexLink technology in Sub-Saharan Africa.
FlexLink currently has operating units in 30 countries and works with partners in 60 countries.
FlexLink, a provider of production logistics solutions, has opened a facility in Izmir, Turkey.
The new FlexLink operations provide Turkish companies with direct access to the company’s latest technologies, including the recently launched conveyor platform X65. FlexLink’s new facility in Turkey is located close to that of G.D, a leading supplier of tobacco machinery.
“We have started with an experienced team of sales and application engineering with the know-how about our existing customers and production processes applied.” says Mattias Perjos, CEO of FlexLink. “The Turkish market is of strategic interest to FlexLink and the feedback from our customers is strong.”
FlexLink Systems inaugurated new international distribution (IDB) and engineering centers near Poznan, Poland, on Nov. 22.
With the new operations, FlexLink has “insourced” its delivery services and combined it with complementary services to keep full control of the delivery performance to its customers. The combined operations holds capacities in engineering, pre-assembly of conveyor systems and product handling functions, warehousing and the international distribution center.
The location also hosts the local sales unit, FlexLink Systems Polska, serving the Polish and Baltic markets.
