Marbach continues expansion

The Marbach Group, a specialist in die-cutting technology, can look back on a successful 2015. After a sluggish start in last year’s first quarter, there was remarkable growth, according to the company.

In the beginning of 2016, Marbach had more than 1,300 employees worldwide—100 more than in the previous year.

Based in Heilbronn, Germany, Marbach attributes its success to sustainable management.

“We already worked on sustainability back when the topic corporate social responsibility was not a special interest in general public,” says managing director Peter Marbach. “Besides environmental and social sustainability, ecological sustainability is of high importance.”

For this reason, the company has invested significantly in machinery, buildings and its global presence. The investment program started in 2006 with a new headquarters in Heilbronn. Marbach also invested in its eastern European locations.  In addition, the company established production sites in America and Malaysia.

The most recent big project was the addition of new hall for manufacturing rotary die-cutting tools in Heilbronn.

“With our good standing in the market, we are able to cope with the challenges of the future. We are looking forward to an exciting year 2016,” says Marbach.
