Longer compliance period

The Hong Kong government will extend to 12 months from six months the compliance period for proposed new labeling rules requiring combined health warnings to cover at least 85 percent of the surface area of cigarette packaging, reports The Hong Kong Standard.

Health warnings must presently cover 50 percent of the pack surface.
